SDS Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. is India’s leading producer of Tc-99m Technetium generators, pioneering the private manufacture of these Nuclear Medicine/Radiopharmaceutical products since October 2015. Our facility, located in Sector-8, IMT Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana, has a weekly production capacity of 200 Technetium generators, making it the largest of its kind in the country. Positioned about 35 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, this facility benefits from easy access for distribution across India.
Set up with technical collaboration from ITD Dresden, Germany, a global leader in hot cells and in- cell equipment manufacturing, our facility includes state-of-the-art machinery installed and supplied by ITD Germany. The facility meets all Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safety standards, is GMP compliant, and holds ISO 9001:2008 Certification and a CE mark of excellence from ITD Germany. Under the brand name “SDS GEN,” our user-friendly, dry-type generators are supplied to major government and private hospitals nationwide, aiming to support the nuclear medicine community with high-quality, cost-effective products and reliable delivery.
This new I-131 production line adheres to stringent regulatory standards, reinforcing our commitment to quality and safety. With this advancement, we aim to support clinicians and nuclear medicine centres in providing precise and reliable diagnostic and therapeutic solutions.
Also, we announce the successful completion of trial runs at our newly established Medical Cyclotron Facility ( 18MeV Kiube 300 from IBA , Belgium ) in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This facility represents a significant advancement in our capabilities to support the nuclear medicine industry across India and nearby regions. Designed with state-of-the-art technology, it will enable us to produce F-18 based tracers, including FDG (Fluorodeoxyglucose), F-PSMA (Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen), and F-DOPA (Fluoro-Dihydroxyphenylalanine). These tracers are crucial for advanced diagnostic imaging in oncology, neurology, and cardiology.
In addition to F-18 tracers, the facility is equipped to produce a diverse range of other medically essential radioisotopes, such as Ga-68 (Gallium-68), Cu-64 (Copper-64), C-11 (Carbon-11), N-13 (Nitrogen-13), and Zr-89 (Zirconium-89).
We expect to commence commercial production of these tracers by the end of this year, contributing to the self-sufficiency and growth of India’s nuclear medicine infrastructure and reinforcing our commitment to providing high-quality, locally produced radiopharmaceuticals.
