OPERATIONS
SDS Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. is the largest player of Tc 99m Technetium generator in India. We started our operations in October 2015 for production of Tc-99m Technetium generators. We are the only private company in India to manufacture Tc-99m Generators Nuclear Medicine/ Radiopharmaceutical. Our capacity is to manufacture 200 Generators per week.
This facility is located at Sector-8, IMT Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana, India about 35 Kms & 50 min. drive from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
The facility has been set up in technical collaboration with M/s ITD, Dresden, Germany, one of the reputed manufactures & suppliers of hot cells and in-cell Equipments world over. Complete machinery has been supplied and installed by ITD Germany.
Our generator is a user-friendly ‘Dry Type’ generator marketed under the trade name “SDS GEN”.Presently, we are supplying Technetium generators to key government and private hospitals across India every week.

New Products
Plans are in progress, under the Phase-II expansion program to expand this facility and install a “Formulation Facility for I- 131 Radio-pharmaceutical Products”. Provision for I-131 (capsules and soln.) plant in the existing facility. The plan and the application are ready for submission to the regulatory authority.
Iodine -131
Plans are in progress, to install a “Formulation Facility at Manesar ( Gurgram), Haryana for Iodine- 131” comprising Iodine-131 capsules and solution. The plant is expected to be Commissioned in Sept 2022.
Medical Cyclotron
Plans are in progress to install a medical cyclotron of 18 MeV and 300 uA at Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh for production of F18 based tracers comprising FDG, F-PSMA, F-DOPA. The plant also has a provision to produce other radioisotopes such as Ga68, Cu-64, C-11, N13, Zr. The plant is expected to be commissioned in April 2023.
